About Us

Our founder, Mark Phillips, has been in the Construction Industry since 1989, having started out working on concrete, concrete repair, and waterproofing crews, as well as working for Distributors selling concrete accessory and building envelope products.

In 2006, he moved to Colorado in hopes of starting his business as an independent Manufacturers Representative. In 2007, Front Range Specialty Products, Inc. was born and we are proud to say that we have had long lasting relationships with our Manufacturing partners, some as long as fifteen years.

He has been fortunate to work on many high-profile projects, including the Golden Gate Bridge Seismic Retrofit, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Oakland Bay Bridge, Empower Field, and Denver Botanic Gardens; not to mention countless numbers of schools, hospitals, and multi-family projects.

Mark’s favorite part of the job is helping people to have a successful project in whatever their scope is. From its initial planning, aiding the design team in product selection, product compatibility and detailing, and training the applicators in the field to give a proper installation of the products that will last and perform as expected.  In His spare time, Mark enjoys spending time with his Family and Friends, Travel, Fly Fishing, Cycling, and Surfing.

Tim Hannon is new to the team.  He has a strong background in building envelope waterproofing experience over the past four years.  He is passionate about the great structures we all play a part in building and repurposing.  

One goal Tim has; is continuing to leave behind greener, well built buildings for future generations - that don't leak!  Prior to waterproofing; he worked in residential construction and contracting.  As a teammate on a property management company with hundreds of properties.  He graduated from Indiana University and has a strong business background in financials, and project management.

Tim enjoys working through projects with all the parties involved, and bringing solutions to the table.  We want our building owners and partners to enjoy the process and know they can count on us to deliver solutions and results.

Tim and his wife Jen enjoy spending time with their young daughter Haisley,  and going on adventures with her outside as often as possible.  As a graduate of Indiana University he enjoys his college sports, although his wife's rival Wisconsin tends to wallop his teams.  Outside of that his family enjoys traveling, and Tim in particular likes his golf, hockey and fishing.
